After sharing about the home design of the phone (Operating system), we gonna share about the main parts of a smart phone. In this section, we gonna compare and explain the article into two: computer and smart phones, to make you understand more. Let's go.

SOC(System On A Chip)

You Sugars will know about computers. They have brain CPU(Central Processing Unit) which control the activities of the whole computer and GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) which enable your computer as a bteer view of graphic and give more detail about the content you are watching. They are positioned separately. Ok, it's a computer. Our phones are small computers. So, they have CPU and GPU. But unlike the computer, on our phone, they are gathered on a unit called COC(System On A Chip). This chip contain both CPU and GPU. On computer, you can use different CPU and GPU. Even if you know a little about computer, you can change and replace the CPU and GPU easily by unscrewing. But on smart phone, if you do something to SOC(CPU and GPU Combinatin) your phone will be dead. You can't replace CPU and GPU. You have to replace the whole SOC. On computer you can buy any type of CPU and put it on your computer. And so is GPU too. But requires to be compatible at a range. CPU seller and GPU are manufactured in different companies. On mobile, CPU and GPU are produced in same company.

Now, you will be clear about the brain of smart phones. Let's continue about the SOC manufacturer.

There are three main manufacturer of SOC on mobile market.

1. Qualcomm(also known as snapdragon)

2. Mediatek(called MTK)

3. Apple

Snapdragon and MTK sell SOC to all android phones but apple only made for his products and no android phone have an Apple SOC.

In 2023, Mediatek has 32% of the market distribution, Qualcomm has 28% and Apple has 26% of the market. 

Snapdragons are the most famous of android SOS because of their low power comsumption and long term usage.

MTK was unfamous for the durability. But nowadays, MTKs are becoming more stronger and stronger. So, their market distribution is high.

Apple SOC are only for apple products. We'll not mention more about it because the whole world accept thet Apple can make the best high-end SOC on the mobile market. And so is everyone love to have an iphone.
