Research Experience or Dancing with Ghosts
I have been a
university teacher for over 18 years. During this period, I studied abroad (in
Japan) for 5 years and obtained my doctoral degree. While studying for a
doctorate in Japan, I had the experience of reviewing some master's books.
The reason why I said
this was that students in foreign universities were quite critical in teaching
and learning. In addition to this, there were creativity in doing research. As
for me, I encountered some difficulties among these students right after I arrived
in Japan. The main thing was that I didn't know how to speak or discuss. I knew
the topics, but I didn't know what to talk about.
Every methodological
research book (or paper) has the research framework or idea of the research
paper. However, if you copy and use other people's texts without knowing this
fact, your paper will become a very uncomfortable writing. According to the
data, it is consistent with your research, but it is not consistent with the
research ideas, so it is often a very uncomfortable document to read.
I didn't know if I would write my research book with the
imagination of these people. I had to study a lot to find out. I originally
went to Japan to immediately attend a doctorate course. However, I realized
that I did not yet have the research procedures and habits, so I decided to go
back to another master's course for a year as a research student.
At that time, I had already obtained a master's degree in
international relations from Yangon University. However, I started from another
master's degree course and did it again. So, 6 years after my first master's
degree, I got my second master's degree in 2008. From there, I went on to
pursue a doctorate degree.
When I started my doctoral course, my supervisor appointed me as his teaching
assistant, so I became a Teaching Assistant. Since then, I have had the
opportunity to supervise and evaluate master's books in my spare time.
The first book I checked was a book written by a Vietnamese
student. He had compiled a book on the difficulties faced by farmers in the
agricultural sector in Vietnam. However, when I started looking through his
book, I found that he had little personal effort and no personal research
spirit. The book took a little of the letters written by others, This book was
a bit small, and I found that he wrote very little of it himself. I saw that
other people's imaginations are just a group of thoughts and ideas that didn't
have his own style.
In the same way, the Master's degree books, I have checked
many doctoral dissertations... and I am still checking them. However, most of
the books are written with ideas written by others rather than writing with
their own spirit. I would say dancing with the imagination. Other people's
letters here and there, This is because there are a lot of words taken together
in this one paragraph.
In other words, It should be said that there is no personal
effort (Originality) and personal style. When I reviewed the letter I wrote in
the honors class, I found that it was very weak in (Originality). Recently,
good research has been found in Myanmar.
In particular, writing
a book is about researching one's own thoughts and ideas. personal findings,
You have to write and present the information that you have searched for
yourself in a way that you understand in your own style.
1) You need to know the research process.
2) Other people's research approaches. research methods,
writing and presentation, It is necessary to study the information used in
advance. Because of this need, studying research procedures, I have presented
the need to search and read literature (literature review).
This about is so interesting.
